We are Aoife and Hannah - two friends who are passionate about Jesus, young people and art. We believe that God has brought us together to use our talents, passions and interests to equip others to delight in God’s Word and live it out.
OUR HEART
OUR MISSION
More than anything right now, the enemy is robbing children and young people of the truth of their identity. Especially our girls. We believe it is on God’s heart to help women young and old to know, understand, and live out the truth of their identity as females, created by God, with a purpose in Christ Jesus. It is our calling to equip women to seek God for guidance in all things and to go to Scripture to find out who they are. The mission is to raise up a generation of females free from the bondage of comparison and competition, who champion and encourage one another, embracing their individuality and celebrating their diversity. We want to see them dance with joy as the masterpieces God has made them to be, and then out of their freedom, empower others to be free. It is by God’s grace we are free and it is only in his Word that we will find the truth about who we were made to be.
Therefore our mission is to create resources which not only equip people with knowledge of the truth, but give them tools to take into their daily lives as they pursue God individually, primarily through Bible-journaling. Though what we make is not exclusive to females, we do have them in mind as we draw, write, and paint. We want people to delight in God’s Word through the beauty of artwork - to enjoy looking at it and filling their minds with it. But we also want to provide practical tools that equip people to invest in their quiet times with God and pursuit of Scripture. Everything we produce is inspired by the Bible and for the purpose of enabling people to seek the Lord.
OUR NAME
In Mark 14 we read of the woman who broke the Alabaster jar of expensive perfume over Jesus. Although the disciples who were there considered her actions wasteful, Jesus said she had done “a beautiful thing.” Her focus was on Jesus alone and, in an extravagant display of devotion to him, she poured out all she had. It was all for Jesus. This woman is the inspiration behind the first part of our name, because we want everything we do to be all for him. Not only this, but our heart is to call other young women of God to do the same - to live a life that is all for Jesus.
That is where the 'Armoury' part of the name comes in. An armoury is simply defined as a place where weapons are kept, and Ephesians 6:11 tells us to put on the full armour of God in order to take a stand against the devil’s schemes. Our aim is to provide weapons and tools to be used in spiritual warfare against the lies of the enemy. In all that we produce, we hope to equip and empower people with a well-stocked arsenal of Biblical truth about who they are in Christ.
